What makes me different from other exporters is that I’m independent—I work for myself. This allows me to offer some of the lowest fees in the market because there’s no boss telling me to mark up everything. Many companies add extra charges for things like inland shipping or even misreport auction results just to increase profits. Before going independent, I worked for two export companies. I started out passionate about the industry, but the constant pressure to raise prices and maximize profit didn’t align with my values or the way I wanted to do business.
